Feeding Canaries

Sometimes it is difficult to imagine how important a role in the life of the canary is playing a well-chosen diet. After all, it depends on him and the health and good mood of the bird. And how important is the correct feeding of canaries in such crucial periods as shedding, breeding and feeding the chicks!

However, quite often, as it turns out, a person acquiring a canary for the first time does not have a clue about the general rules for feeding a future pet. And, most sadly, can not get such important information when purchasing birds.

This article is intended to help, in the first place, to help the novice amateur to provide their canary with proper and complete feeding. I would also like to hope that readers who already have some experience in keeping birds will find something interesting in it.

The first thing I would like to pay special attention to: proper nutrition is the health of your pet ! And vice versa: a huge number of problems and diseases can be caused precisely by the wrong, unbalanced feeding of canaries!
Feeding basics

So that your bird always has a great mood, good health, beautiful plumage, so that her song will delight you, as long as possible, you need to monitor the correct feeding of the bird . Very many owners too indulge their pets, and then a lot of problems happen: the bird does not sing, molts or falls ill. Remember that you shouldn't overfeed a bird. This way you only harm her. Make sure that the feed is eaten away by the bird (preferably) completely.
